Pedistal outlet is supported by 1/2" galvanized pipe. (right pipe) This support pipe is capped at the bottom and caulked at the top to prevent moisture from entering the outlet box. Wires enter the outlet box through 1/2" Sch 40 PVC (left pipe). Green wire exiting 3rd pipe behind the outlet box addresses grounding issues for a project unrelated to the pedestal outlet.
